Within a decade or two people will be able to screen their children for whatever they might want. Tall, short, types of illness, IQ, and even personality types can be determined in the screenings. Now today the only traits that can be determined at the earliest stage is the gender and the different sorts of illnesses. Many parents know about the choosing their baby's gender and they know that some clinics will let then do it. Sex selection will become a major issue. For the countries that prefer one gender over the other like in China and India, which are already off balanced, this would really over tip the scale. Many Americans believe that an ideal family should have a boy as the firstborn child, because they would be more assertive.
